What is the best time to visit Kashmir?
It depends on what you want. March to May brings the blossom and tulips; June to August is green and pleasant and is when the Amarnath Yatra runs; September to November gives clear skies and autumn colour, and is our own favourite; December to February brings snow, and Gulmarg becomes a ski destination.
Is Kashmir safe for tourists right now?
Tourist areas across the valley operate normally and receive visitors throughout the year. Conditions can change, so we monitor them and will tell you honestly if we think a plan should be adjusted. Our drivers know the roads and stay in contact with us throughout your trip.
How much does a Kashmir trip cost?
A four-day Srinagar and Gulmarg trip starts around ₹11,900 per person; a six-day classic circuit is around ₹18,500. The final figure depends on the season, your group size and the hotel category. Send us your dates and we will quote exactly.
Are gondola tickets and local taxis included?
No, and no operator in Kashmir includes them. The Gulmarg gondola is ticketed on the day by the development authority, and at Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg local union taxis are mandatory by local rules. We tell you the likely costs upfront so nothing is a surprise.
Do you arrange flights?
Our packages are land-only, which usually works out cheaper for you — flight prices move constantly and you can often book better than a fixed package rate. We are happy to advise on timings and which airport to use.
Can you customise a package?
Yes, and most of our bookings end up customised. Change the nights, swap the hotels, add or remove destinations, adjust the pace. There is no charge for planning and no obligation to book.
