March to May brings the blossom and tulips; June to August is green and pleasant and is when the Amarnath Yatra runs; September to November gives clear skies and autumn colour, and is our own favourite; December to February brings snow, and Gulmarg becomes a ski destination.

No, and no operator in Kashmir includes them. The Gulmarg gondola is ticketed on the day by the development authority, and at Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg local union taxis are mandatory by local rules. We tell you the likely costs upfront so nothing is a surprise.
