The cave shrine at 3,888 m, reached from Pahalgam or Baltal during the annual yatra.

The Amarnath cave shrine is open to pilgrims for a few weeks each summer, usually across July and August. Two routes lead there: the longer traditional one from Pahalgam via Chandanwari and Sheshnag, and the shorter, steeper climb from Baltal.

Registration through the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board is mandatory and includes a medical certificate. We handle the logistics; the dates and eligibility rules are set by the Board each year.
